Yesterday our boys and girls had a great day at The Aaron Devlin Memorial Football Tournament in Ballinderry. Both teams participated very well and enjoyed playing lots of football. Thank you to Derrychrin Primary School for a very well organised tournament. Well done everyone!
Last week, we were very busy litter-picking in the area nearby our school grounds. Pupils from P1-P7 did a thorough job and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine ☀️
Well done everyone!😀
Congratulations to all our pupils who travelled actively during our Sustrans ‘Big Walk & Wheel’ event! We placed 23rd in the ‘small schools’ category in Northern Ireland which is amazing!
61.74% of our pupils either walked, cycled or scooted during the event which ran over the past two weeks. It was lovely to see so many pupils choosing a cleaner, healthier way of travelling to school. Well done to all!
Here’s a selection of photos taken over the event.
Well done to Amy-Grace who came third in the vault at the Shooting Stars Gymnastic competition on Sunday. A super achievement!
Well done to all our Stars of the Week!⭐️😀
On Wednesday 8th March we celebrated World Maths Day. Each class completed a range of Mathematical activities and took part in a World Maths Day poster competition. Well done everyone!
The children celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite book characters. They also participated in class competitions for World Book Day. They had great fun!😀 📚
Our Key Stage 2 pupils participated in a Volleyball Tournament at Moneymore Recreation Centre. The tournament was facilitated by coaches from Giant Leap Sports. The pupils played with children from three local schools- St Patrick’s P.S Loup, Spires Integrated and St Malachy’s P.S Drummullan. They all had a great experience and were awarded certificates for their efforts.
A big thanks to the coaches and teachers for all their support and to Eurospar (Moneymore), for providing the refreshments.
