Yesterday we had our final Red and White Day of the year to show our support for the Derry teams. Thank you to Stephen Barker and Chrissy McKaigue for bringing the Anglo-Celt Cup! We wish Derry all the best at the weekend! 🔴⚪️
The P.7 pupils participated in their Farewell Assembly on Friday 23rd June. We celebrated the pupils’ achievements and wished them well in their new post-primary schools. Staff, parents and pupils attended the emotional farewell. The entire school community is very proud of the P.7 pupils and we wish them good health and happiness in the future.
On Friday 16th June we enjoyed Sports Day in the Recreation Centre. The pupils participated brilliantly in a range of events. We thank the parents of the school community for their attendance. We are most grateful to Eurospar Moneymore for contributing a range of healthy snacks for Sports Day. Yesterday we also played some fun games with our new equipment in school! 😀
Yesterday our pupils were presented with certificates for various achievements during Term 3. These included Mathletics, Accelerated Reading, Cycling Proficiency and Attendance. Well done everyone!
Today our athletics team had a very successful and enjoyable day in Meadowbank at the South Derry Track and Field competition. Everyone participated very well with great individual and team performances. Our boys team won the over all Small Schools Boys Competition and we were delighted to be announced as the over all Small Schools Champions.
Well done everyone!! 🏆
Our Primary 1/2 and 3/4 classes enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Forest School in The Jungle NI. They completed lots of different activities like making their own paint, building huts, wood cutting, and climbing trees. Thanks to the staff of the Forest School for a great day!
