• Shoebox Appeal

  We had a fantastic response to the Shoebox Appeal this year. The shoeboxes will be sent to the children of Ukraine in time for Christmas. Many young people will benefit from the kindness shown by the families of Moneymore. 

  

• Halloween Celebration 🎃

  Today the pupils dressed up for Halloween. The costumes were brilliant and the children had great fun. They completed Art and Craft activities. They enjoyed watching scary movies! 🎃💀

  

• Dog’s Trust

  On Friday 7th October, a representative from the Dog’s Trust came to visit our school. Cathy spoke to all the classes on the work of the Dog’s Trust and how to stay safe from dogs. The children engaged in brilliant discussions and Cathy provided great advice. 

  

• N.I Water

  Fri 07 Oct 2022

  On Thursday a representative from N.I Water came to visit our school. Pat spoke to the P4-7 pupils about the Global Water Supply, the Water Cycle and Water Conservation. He gave the children lots of tips on how to save water at home. Pat gave all the children reusable water bottles and shower timers. The presentation was enjoyable and educational.

• Sacrament Dates

  The following dates have been arranged for administration of the sacraments. 

  First Confession - Friday 9th December 2022 at 1pm. 

  Confirmation - Wednesday 19th April 2023 at 5pm.   

  First Holy Communion - Saturday 20th May 2023 at 11am

  All ceremonies will be held in the Church of St. John and St. Trea’s, Moneymore
