  • Aware - Paws B Mindfulness Sessions

    Fri 04 Mar 2022

The P6/7 class participated in a six week module of mindfulness.  The programme was facilitated by the mental health charity Aware.  The pupils responded well and engaged brilliantly in the sessions.  They are now equipped, with many mindfulness skills, they can use in their everyday lives to help with worries and anxieties.  During Children's Mental Health Week the whole school took part in 'Express Yourself Day' by wearing colourful, wacky, clothes to school.  The school raised £150 on that day and it was donated to Aware on Wednesday 2nd March by our P6/7 pupils.  The children were also presented with certificates for their participation in the mindfulness course.  Our second Key Stage 2 class are looking forward to commencing the course on March 16th.
